It’s hard to believe that spring is almost here again in Montana, but what a good time to be involved in
the Red Angus business and the cattle industry alike. People looking for Red Angus genetics are at an all
time high, and it looks like calf prices are following that upward trend. Heifer calves have been outselling
their steer-mates. Even old cows that are bred are bringing a premium this year. The bulls have done excellent again this year, gaining right on target and are a very balanced set of bulls. By sale time they will have had their breeding soundness exam. I will have their average daily gain rates and also ultrasound data available.
